An engineer by education and photographer by choice. My first love is African wildlife, but I enjoy photographing nearly anything that reflects light in an interesting way. I grew up on the cold winters and freezing rain of rural New England, and high-tailed out of there as soon as I graduated college. Boulder, Colorado was home for the better part of 16 years, until a beautiful woman led me away to California. After spending 3 years in the Bay Area, I’m happy to be back in Colorado, married, and working for one of the most creative and innovative companies in the world. While photography is not my primary vocation, I seek to visit my favorite places in Africa on a yearly basis to connect with old friends, track my favorite wildlife, and sink into the humility that usually accompanies these trips.
